Milivojevic on Kosovo recognition demands: Imagine Zelenskyy saying – I give up Crimea and territories for the sake of a quick entry into the EU

Political analyst Cvijetin Milivojevic thinks that the entire process of negotiations in Brussels is horrible because all kinds of matters are being negotiated, except for life matters, and points out that people in Kosovo do not have the freedom of movement, N1 reports.

As he stated, "instead of negotiating property, social property, property of the church and other religious communities, Vucic said that those in Pristina and Brussels had not wanted to put all that on the agenda of the negotiations."

"And what did you negotiate about - was it about what the official Pristina and Brussels wanted? Then to whom are you complaining? Vucic especially has no right to complain," Milivojevic said, stating that he always went to the negotiations.

He also referred to the demands for the recognition of Kosovo.

"I would like someone to correct me. But there is not a single example in the world in the last 100 years where a state representative voluntarily gave up a part of its territory for the sake of some higher interest, which is entering a community. Imagine (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelenskyy doing that at this moment. 'Here, since they want to accept us into the EU quickly, I renounce not only Crimea but all four areas.' Could you believe that? Why does anyone expect us to do that," Milivojevic stated, asking:

"Did Croatia give up something to join the EU? It did not. Not one square kilometer."
