Muhaxhiri: If Osmani is not re-elected, she will remain in politics, she has a very positive image

Political analyst Artan Muhaxhiri assessed that if Vjosa Osmani does not receive a second presidential mandate, it will by no means mean that she will leave politics, but that she will continue to be an important part of Kosovo’s political scene, regardless of the form.

In the event that she is not re-elected, Muhaxhiri believes that Osmani will probably take a short break and then return to the political scene in a strong way, either with her party Guxo or by founding another political party.

Muhaxhiri told Kosovo Online that Osmani is very young and very energetic in political terms.

“I think she will be an important actor because voters like her. Within the Kosovo electorate, she has had a very positive image since the time when she was in the LDK, and later when she founded her own party. I believe she will remain, because although she is young, she has a lot of experience. She was extremely young when she started as a political adviser to former President Sejdiu, she has gone through all those events over the past decades, so I do not think she would have a problem founding a new party and even becoming the fourth party in the upcoming elections after Self-Determination, PDK, and LDK,” Muhaxhiri stated.

For Vjosa Osmani to be nominated for a second mandate, her candidacy must be supported by the signatures of at least 30 MPs.
