The Kosovo Privatization Agency (KPA) has decided to hand over "Stojkova House," a cultural treasure and heritage of the citizens of the Municipality of Strpce, to the Kosovo Intelligence Agency, the Municipality of Strpce announced.

The Municipality of Strpce stated on Facebook that the current regime is acting unlawfully.

“According to the decision, for a monthly rent of €350, this property, which holds historical significance, is now supposed to be handed over to the intelligence agency. This is a clear example of the unlawful actions of the current regime, as this decision endangers the cultural and historical heritage of a minority community. This is unacceptable—Stojkova House must be protected from those who are attempting to rewrite history and erase the cultural heritage of a people in this region,” the statement reads.
The Municipality of Strpce strongly opposes this decision, emphasizing that it is yet another confirmation of the repressive policies of the regime in Pristina, which ignores the will of the citizens of Strpce and their legitimately elected representatives.

“We ask representatives of the international community: Is this democracy when you call on members of the minority community in Kosovo to participate in Kosovo’s institutions?” the statement continues.
The Municipality of Strpce noted that, despite everything, it remains committed to the democratic fight for the rights and interests of its citizens.

“'Stojkova House' is ours, and we will return it to the people,” the statement concludes.
