Musa: Polarizing language in the campaign brings more voter support than concrete programs

Lawyer Skender Musa stated that the campaign for the upcoming elections is expected to be harsher than in previous electoral processes, because political parties have realized that polarizing language brings more voter support than presenting concrete programs.

“This has been proven during the last three electoral processes we have had. Those parties that had no programs at all performed better than parties that invested efforts in drafting political programs,” Musa said, as reported by Teve1.

According to him, the campaign has already begun with major political tensions and with language that risks further deepening divisions in society.

“The campaign started harshly, and I hope it will not continue with this intensity and this polarizing language and divide people even more, because society is already radically divided.  All of this is being done intentionally so that there is no discussion about the failures in forming institutions, failures in the economy, and in all aspects and spheres of life,” he stated.
