Deputy of the Democratic Union of Kosovo, Besian Mustafa, asked the Kosovo Government what was expected in the coming months when the power cuts had already started, Kosovan newspaper Koha reported.
Mustafa emphasized that power outages had already started, especially outside urban centers.
"What is expected in December, January, and February? What is the Government's plan to get Kosovo out of the energy crisis? Will they spend tens of millions of euros more without increasing the production capacity by a single kV?" Mustafa asked.
The Kosovo Government and KEDS (Kosovo Energy Distribution Services) have announced power cuts.
Kosovo was the first in this part of Europe to start with multi-hour and daily electricity restrictions back in August this year, and even though announced, the unit of the thermal power plant "Kosovo A" has still not been repaired and put into operation.
