Nastic on Kosovo Police action: This is a blow to the most vulnerable population groups

The Director of the Center for Social Work in Leposavic, Natasa Nastic, commented on the Kosovo police raid, stating that their fears had come true. She added that documents and computers were confiscated, leaving 1,500 beneficiaries without access to their rights as of today.
Nastic emphasized that Kosovo police had entered the premises of the Center for Social Work with an eviction order.
"Our fears that they would shut down the Center for Social Work have come true. An hour ago, the police of Kosovo’s provisional institutions in Pristina stormed the Center for Social Work with an eviction order, seizing our documentation and computers. Unfortunately, 1,500 beneficiaries have been left without the ability to exercise any of their rights starting today," Nastic said.
She stated that they would find a way to continue assisting people.
"We will not give up. We will find a way to be there for our people, but this will now be much more difficult. There are various vulnerable groups here. This is not just a blow to the employees of the Center for Social Work, this is a blow to the most vulnerable population groups living in the municipality of Leposavic," Nastic stressed.
