Osmani: The decision of the CEC must be respected; SL gathers individuals who violate the constitutional order of Kosovo

The Central Election Commission is an independent body that makes decisions autonomously, and its decisions must be respected, according to a message from the Presidency of Kosovo, in response to RTV21, following the CEC's decision not to certify the candidates of the Serb List for the parliamentary elections on February 9.

In the response, the Presidency also claims that the Serb List gathers individuals who violate the constitutional order of Kosovo.

"The Serb List is an organization that includes individuals who have on multiple occasions committed terrorist acts, acts of aggression, and violated the constitutional order of Kosovo. On the other hand, the Central Election Commission (CEC) is an independent constitutional institution that decides autonomously. Every decision of the CEC must be respected, as part of a commitment to the rule of law and the preservation of institutional integrity," the response adds.
