Petkovic discusses the position of Serbs in Kosovo and the Dialogue process with Sorensen

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, announced that he had discussed the challenges facing Serbs in Kosovo and the obstacles in the process of normalizing relations with the European Union Special Representative for the Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue, Peter Sorensen.

Petkovic specified that he had held a constructive meeting with Sorensen focused on the issues affecting Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the challenges related to the normalization process and the implementation of agreements already reached.

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija stated that, during the talks, he drew attention to the pressures that, according to him, the Serbian population in Kosovo is facing.

“I pointed to the pressure our people are under, the politically motivated arrests, and the escalatory actions being carried out by the regime in Pristina in the midst of the election campaign,” Petkovic said in a post on Instagram.
