The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, in his address to the media, pointed out that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, did not want peace, dialogue with Serbia, and the formation of the CSM, and because of this, he was causing incidents throughout Kosovo.

"It is clear that with the provocative behavior and violent actions of the Kosovo Police, both Pristina and Albin Kurti want to threaten peace and trample on dialogue. Albin Kurti is trying to find space to escape from the CSM, that's why he needs crises because then there is no dialogue," Petkovic said.

He emphasized that the incidents of violence were especially pronounced in four municipalities across Kosovo, recalling all the attacks and arrests of the Serbs in the north, as well as the latest arrest of Milovan Bozovic.

Petkovic emphasized that it was the obligation of Pristina to form the CSM and that all previous agreements between Belgrade and Pristina obliged them to do so.

"It is clear that people do not want to talk about anything, Kurti is looking for a way to cause incidents that would trigger an excessive reaction of the Serbs, in order to avoid his obligations," Petkovic said.

Petkovic especially underlined that Kurti used license plates to cause damage and provoke the Serbian community, although it had been agreed that the application of license plates with the KM mark did not have a deadline until they became binding, that is, that license plates with stickers were valid until a permanent solution was reached.

"We will stay with our people in Kosovo and Metohija," Petkovic said.

He emphasized that all these incidents and attacks were an alarm for the international community and a warning that they had to react and get involved in defending the rights of the Serbs in Kosovo.

Petkovic stated that there had been 309 incidents since Kurti had come to power.

He concluded that the CSM was the only solution to save the Serbs in Kosovo.

Petkovic's speech followed yesterday in the north of Kosovo, the police arrested a Serb on suspicion of setting cars on fire and previously attacking the police with a firearm.
