Petkovic: Pristina wants to conceal the fact that three Serbs were killed in Banjska

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic recalled that three Serbs—Igor Milenkovic, Stefan Nedeljkovic and Bojan Mijailovic—lost their lives in the tragic events in Banjska, and stressed that the results of their autopsies had still not been made public because, he claimed, Pristina wanted to conceal the fact that they had been killed.

“Three years have passed since the tragic events in Banjska, in which Igor Milenkovic, Stefan Nedeljkovic and Bojan Mijailovic lost their lives, having been executed at close range by Kurti’s police officers. To this day, the autopsy results have not been released because Pristina wants to conceal the fact that the three Serbs were killed after they had been captured,” Petkovic wrote on the social media platform X.

He said that Pristina also still owed answers as to why Serbian pathologists had not been allowed to participate in the autopsies, why EULEX had been barred from attending the on-site investigation, and why the complete drone footage had never been released.

Without answers to those questions, there could be no truth, the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija stressed.

“Therefore, it was not only the Albanian police officer Afrim Bunjaku who lost his life, as many in Kosovo and Metohija seek to portray it. Three Serbs also lost their lives, and for the Serbian people, particularly those in the north, they will never be terrorists,” Petkovic said.
