The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, announced that the principal of the elementary school in Gojbulje was detained at the Jarinje crossing due to possession of stamps from the school, which operates within Serbia’s system. The stamps were confiscated, and the principal was released after questioning, Petkovic stated.
“Tonight, Kurti’s police at Jarinje detained the principal of the elementary school in Gojbulje because he had stamps from a Serbian school with him! After questioning, he was released, but the stamps were confiscated. With this, Kurti has started a crackdown on Serbian schools, aiming to shut them down and deprive children of their right to education,” Petkovic wrote on the social network “X.”
He added that the EU and Quint countries were informed tonight about this act of violence and direct violation of agreements.
“An attack on Serbian schools would mark the end of everything,” Petkovic warned.
