Director of the Office for Kosovo Petar Petkovic is on his way to Brussels, where he is supposed to meet with Pristina chief negotiator Besnik Bislimi, the Office for Kosovo confirmed to Tanjug, RTV reports.

The EU Special Envoy for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak will attend the conversation, and as Tanjug was told, the meetings are expected from 3 pm today.

The exact agenda of the talks is not known for now, nor whether the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell will participate in them.

The meeting between Petkovic and Bislimi in Brussels is taking place two days after the attempt to reach an agreement on license plates failed in the negotiations between Lajcak and Borrell with the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, and the day after Kurti postponed for 48 hours the decision on imposing fines for those who did not re-register their vehicles to RKS (Republic of Kosovo) license plates, at the request of the United States.

A meeting will be held today at 3 pm in Severna Mitrovica (North Mitrovica), as a response of women from the north of Kosovo to "oppression and cruelty", as they say, that they suffer daily from the authorities in Pristina, as announced by Gordana Savic, head of the Department for Health Promotion and Scientific Research at the Clinical - hospital center in the city.
