The former mayor of North Mitrovica, Milan Radojevic, spoke about the wounding of Milan Jovanovic, who had been shot by a Kosovo Police sniper and pointed out the double standards applied to citizens in Kosovo, depending on their ethnicity.

Radojevic pointed to several segments of "so-called democracy and the rule of law in the north of Kosmet", comparing Jovanovic's case with the case of the driver from Prizren.

"In Prizren, a driver attacks a policeman with a vehicle and is released to defend himself, and the case goes to the regular procedure. In the north of Kosovo, it is enough to be a Serb and have a vehicle with KM license plates, and the policemen will shoot you in the back. The wounding of Jovanovic, Xhelal Svecla justified by allegedly not stopping," Radojevic wrote on Instagram.

After a series of bad actions towards the Serbs, he points out that the international community still demands that elections be held.

"In Prizren, the case goes to the regular procedure, and in the north of Kosovo and Metohija, the driver gets a bullet in the back. They take your land and build military bases on it. The Patriarch was banned from entering Kosovo before Christmas because he had not condemned the barricades in the north. Children are forbidden to play sports and play in the clubs they like, and the international community is calling for 'fair and democratic elections,'" he added.

Radojevic emphasized that "no ban, no shots will stop the birth of new champions, because that's our gene".

"There will still be Djokovic, Krasic, and Doncic who will proudly bear their name and highlight their origin. Wounded, but not defeated! Disenfranchised but still honorable and proud! Few, but not alone! This nation will live," Radojevic said.
