Sadiku: Inflation relief packages one of the biggest lies of the Kurti government

Ermal Sadiku of the Democratic League of Kosovo said that the inflation relief packages were one of the biggest lies of Albin Kurti's government, arguing that they were causing long-term damage to Kosovo's economy while inflation remained a serious problem.

According to him, by distributing money from the budget, mostly ahead of elections and without any genuine economic plan, the Kurti government had bought short-term support while damaging the economy in the long run.

"Inflation in Kosovo continues to be a serious problem. And inflation is not just a percentage in the statistics—it means lower purchasing power for citizens, higher operating costs for businesses and, ultimately, a weaker national economy. You do not fight inflation by handing out money before elections. You fight it through economic policy, increased production, competition, and investment. Amateurs," Sadiku wrote on Facebook.
