The Serb List: About ten Serbian families in the village of Odanovce targeted by arsonists
The Serb List announced that for the second time within a short period, about ten Serbian families in the village of Odanovce in the municipality of Kosovska Kamenica had been targeted by arsonists and added that the impunity of those responsible for the attacks on the Serbs and the overt institutional violence created fertile ground for extremists who were bothered even by the few Serbs in Odanovce.
"Last night, the barn of Milenkovic family, containing hay bales and agricultural tools crucial for their survival on their land, was burned down. Intimidating honest and hardworking Serbian families like this one is a consequence of the regime of Albin Kurti's direct hostility and public confrontation with the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija," the statement said.
They add that none of the international representatives have reacted to the continuous attacks on the Serbs south of the Ibar River.
"The regime of Albin Kurti has managed to divert international public attention from the daily ethnically motivated attacks on our citizens by creating chaos with his anti-Serb decisions. This attack, like all previous ones, is neither accidental nor isolated but obviously part of a serious and comprehensive plan to ethnically cleanse the Serbs from their centuries-old homes," it was emphasized.
As they say, peace is the greatest value that must be "preserved and defended against the onslaught of Albin Kurti".
"But peace is not achieved when the Serbs are persecuted and when the Serbian dinar is banned, when salaries, pensions, scholarships, and social benefits are abolished, or when the few Serbs who just want to live on their land are attacked," the Serb List concludes.
