Serb List: After the waterworks, Rizvanolli now announces the seizure of funds from the Development Fund for the North
The Serb List has stated that Kosovo's Minister of Economy in the caretaker government, Artane Rizvanolli, is using carefully chosen words to conceal Pristina’s true intention—to continue institutional expropriation following the unlawful takeover of waterworks in North Mitrovica and Zubin Potok, this time targeting funds from the Development Fund for the North, which belong to the citizens of the northern municipalities. They add that the ultimate goal is the ethnic cleansing of Serbs.
In its statement, the Serb List reminds Rizvanolli that Albin Kurti has never cared about the Serbian people, but only about how to expel Serbs from their centuries-old homes and to do everything to threaten their physical survival on their ancestral lands.
“The proof of this is the fact that over 15 percent of Serbs have left northern Kosovo and Metohija since Kurti came to power,” the Serb List stated.
They add that the unlawful takeover of the waterworks, along with the expulsion of Serbian employees from these public companies, is a clear indicator that the ultimate aim of these actions is to enslave and completely remove Serbs institutionally, as well as to endanger the water supply of the population, the Clinical Hospital Center in Kosovska Mitrovica, student and school dormitories, schools, and kindergartens.
“What is particularly concerning is the fact that water from the northern part of Kosovo and Metohija has already been illegally redirected to Pristina and Vucitrn on multiple occasions, openly jeopardizing the supply to Serbian communities and denying them basic human rights. And that, Ms. Rizvanolli has conveniently forgotten to mention,” they said.
The Serb List once again appealed to international representatives “to stand up in defense of the rights of the Serbian people to exist in this region.”
