The Serb List: The impression is that after our visit to the USA, Hovenier had the need to flatter the public in Pristina

When analyzing today's statement of the US Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, one gets the impression that after the visit of the Serb List delegation to Washington, he had the need to flatter the public in Pristina, the Serb List assesses.

In the statement, they said that they could not possibly understand this need and added that the representatives of the Serb List, wherever they were, would always represent the interests of the Serbs.

"Representatives of the Serb List, wherever they are and with whomever they meet, will always represent the interests of the Serbs because this is our duty to the citizens who support our party. We also want to emphasize that our policy has always been decided by the bodies of the Serb List, respecting the interests of our citizens, and not according to the dictates of anyone and that it will continue to be so," the announcement emphasizes.

It is added that, both in Washington, Pristina, and in any city in the world or in front of municipal buildings, they will always fight peacefully and democratically with their citizens for the rights of the Serbs, for their survival and staying on their centuries-old hearths.

The US Ambassador in Pristina said today that the USA knew exactly where the borders of Kosovo were and that this included the north of Kosovo.

He added that the US wanted the Serb List to play its role as a political party in sovereign, independent, and democratic Kosovo.

"We don't consider it a Serbian political party, we consider it a party of ethnic Serbs in Kosovo. We have to clarify that," Hovenier said.
