The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia has alerted the international public through its diplomatic and consular network, calling for clear reactions and public statements regarding the latest unilateral actions by the authorities in Pristina directed against Serbs, Kosovo Online has learned.

Kosovo inspectors closed clinics this morning, on Good Friday, in the villages of Banja and Suvo Grlo, while nameplates were also removed from the “Milun Jaksic” Primary School in the village of Banja and the Technical School in Srbica.

Regarding the new actions against the Serbian community, the Serbian MFA has informed the international public and the diplomatic corps worldwide through its Mission to the EU, embassies in EU Member States, London, Washington, and all other embassies and missions of the Republic of Serbia across the globe.

According to Kosovo Online, the document emphasizes that the actions of institutions in Priština deliberately call into question the agreement reached under the auspices of the European Union on 14 March 2026, which was intended to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of education and healthcare in Serb-majority areas in Kosovo.

It is further noted that such actions undermine not only the agreed framework but also the credibility of the European Union as a mediator in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

The document recalls that the EU’s representative for the dialogue had previously stressed that the arrangement had prevented the disruption of essential public services and a potential humanitarian crisis, but that its undermining could have the opposite effect.

It also warns of a serious violation of fundamental human rights, as approximately 250 people in two Serbian villages have been left without access to primary healthcare, while children’s attendance at primary school has been made difficult or impossible.

The document further states that such actions are not isolated incidents, but part of a broader pattern of pressure on the Serbian and other non-Albanian communities, as well as on institutions that provide them with basic living conditions.

It also recalls the detention of several Serbs from Suvo Grlo on charges of war crimes, with claims that there is insufficient supporting evidence.

The document calls on the international community to react urgently in order to prevent further deterioration of the situation and the displacement of the Serbian population from Kosovo.
