Green seals and notices posted on holiday cottages at Gazivode, declaring them property of the Ministry of Agriculture

Inspectors from the Kosovo Forestry Agency have placed green sealing tape on several holiday cottages, together with notices addressed to their owners, in the village of Medjedji Potok on the shores of Lake Gazivode in Zubin Potok.

As local residents confirmed to Kosovo Online, the inspectors, accompanied by police officers, visited the cottages yesterday and affixed identical notices to each property stating that the facilities belong to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development.

The notice contains only the address of the Ministry's headquarters in Pristina.

Photographs obtained by Kosovo Online show one of the cottages sealed with green tape and marked with a notice prohibiting entry.

According to local residents, at least eight properties have been served with identical notices.

They also stated that the inspectors visited additional properties located along the lakeshore.
