Shahini: Responsibility must be clear if new elections are held

If new elections are to be held, the President of Kosovo should state who is responsible for them — whether it is the opposition or Albin Kurti — and the people should then consider whom to vote for and whom to punish, said Agim Shahini, President of the Kosovo Business Alliance, in a statement for Kosovo Online.

“We don’t have the time or the resources to spend another 20 million euros on new elections, to halt the economy and all ongoing processes, and to go through another election campaign,” said Shahini.

He reminded that local elections are also approaching.

“We also have regular local elections coming up, but what is happening in the Kosovo Assembly was unexpected by anyone,” Shahini added.
