Armenian writer, translator, and university professor Babken Simonjan stated that there is no talk of genocide in Srebrenica and compared the fate of Serbs with the fate of Armenians, as reported by NSU.

Commenting on the intention to pass a resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica at the UN General Assembly, Simonjan said that Muslims in BiH make up more than 50 percent of the total population.

He emphasized that considering this fact, there can be no talk of genocidal intent or genocide in Srebrenica.

In an interview conducted for the documentary "Anatomy of Deception: Srebrenica" produced by the Center for Social Stability, Simonjan noted that throughout history, genocide has been committed against the Serbian and Armenian peoples, and Serbs have been expelled from their ancestral homes during the "Operation Storm" in Croatia, as well as from Kosovo.

He reminded that the genocide against Armenians, known in Armenian historiography as the Great Crime, represents systematic and continuous ethnic cleansing, expulsion, and mass killings perpetrated against members of the Armenian people in the Ottoman Empire during World War I.

According to various estimates, between 800,000 and 1.5 million members of the Armenian people were killed during the Great Crime.
