Spahiu: The Serbs are more civilized than the Albanians; more order in the north than in the south of Kosovo
Analyst Nexhmedin Spahiu believes that law and order work better in the north of Kosovo than in the south, and he sees that it is because, as he says, the Serbs are more civilized than the Albanians, who have anarchic and barbaric tendencies to disobey the law, Nacionale reports.
Spahiu believes that the appeals of Kosovo's Western partners and the efforts of the Kosovo Government to de-escalate the situation in the north do not make sense because the situation is calm and under control, and law and order have been established.
"The situation is calm. The situation is under control. Law and order have been established. I can even say that law and order, in the north of Kosovo, work better than in the south of Kosovo. The Serbs are more civilized than us Albanians, more cultured, I say this with regret, of course, but we have to accept it. The problem of governing the Serbs is much easier than the Albanians, who have anarchic tendencies, even barbaric tendencies to disobey the law," Spahiu said.
As he added, many foreign ambassadors believed that law and order had been established in the north of Kosovo and noted that it had not been established in the south, where the Albanians themselves violated it.
Spahiu also believes that Kosovo does not really need Ukraine to recognize it as an independent state.
" Ukraine’s recognition, at this moment, would be important for Kosovo more in a purely propagandist sense than in a real political sense because Kosovo has no relationship with Ukraine," he says.
When it comes to the warnings and punitive measures of the Western partners towards Kosovo, Spahiu says that they should be seen as warnings of a parent to a child.
"Those warnings of the international community towards Albin Kurti, and his Government, are reprimands that a parent gives to his own child. These are reprimands that simply have the character of not only education but in a way also a message to the other side. When your child has an argument with a neighbor, then when you're talking to your child, you're also sending a message to your neighbor," he said.
