Starovic: Common sense dictates the policy of the middle way

There is no prosperity based on national humiliation, history teaches us that, but there is no point in national pride if our country becomes isolated and economically devastated, the State Secretary in the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, Nemanja Starovic states.

"Common sense dictates the policy of the middle way, which avoids the precipice from both the left and the right. We must fight for our compatriots in Kosovo and Metohija, but also for vital state and national interests. Among them, the first is the preservation of territorial integrity, but we must also preserve all our development potentials," he underlined in a post on Instagram.

Today, he underlines, Serbia is immeasurably stronger than ten years ago, on every level, from economic to military.

"The political decisions we make today will be evaluated by whether we will be able to say the same after the next ten years," Starovic stressed.
