Ulutas for Kosovo Online: KFOR to maintain a visible presence in northern Kosovo

In an exclusive interview with Kosovo Online, KFOR Commander Major General Ozkan Ulutas spoke about the transition of KFOR’s permanent presence on the main bridge over the Ibar River, which, according to him, is conditions-based and closely coordinated with the Kosovo Police, EULEX, and other relevant stakeholders.

He also stressed that KFOR would continue to maintain a visible presence in North and South Mitrovica and throughout northern Kosovo, adding that the NATO-led mission takes into account the concerns of all communities in Kosovo, including the Serbian community.
