Vlajic: Residents of Lesak and Drena whose land has been usurped will appeal to the Supreme Court of Kosovo

Lawyer Nebojsa Vlajic said that the residents of Leposavic municipality, whose property had been usurped by the decision of the Government in Pristina on land expropriation, would file an appeal with the Supreme Court of Kosovo.

Vlajic confirmed for Kosovo Online that he would represent the residents of the municipality of Leposavic, whose land the authorities in Pristina wanted to seize in order to build a new police base on it.

He pointed out that he was currently collecting powers of attorney and added that he would submit the appeal by the end of this week.

On January 16, the government in Pristina decided to expropriate more than 80 hectares of land in the municipality of Leposavic.

Representatives of the Serb List held a meeting with the owners of the plots and their heirs, at which it was agreed to hire a legal team that would file an appeal against, they stated, the illegal decision that robbed Serbian land by legal violence, and that they would inform the Office about everything; EU in Pristina, UNMIK, OSCE, KFOR, and representatives of Quint.

Today, on the road that leads from the main road from the direction of Leposavic to the hamlet of Zaselje in Lesak, and further to the top of the hill where, according to the decision of the Government of Kosovo, illegal expropriation of land was carried out, work on the widening of the rural road began with the use of heavy machinery.

The inhabitants of Dren said that their property had been occupied. They decided to spend the evening on the street near the place where the works were being carried out.
