Vucevic calls on the international community to respond urgently to what he describes as the oppression of the Serbian people by the authorities in Pristina
Presidential Adviser to the President of Serbia and President of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), Milos Vucevic, strongly condemned what he described as the actions of "Kurti's so-called Kosovo Police" against Serbs at the Gazimestan memorial, alleging that they had prevented them from peacefully and dignifiedly commemorating Vidovdan.
In a post on Instagram, Vucevic said he was particularly disturbed by the fact that, according to his statement, Serbian children were among those who had been subjected to police action and detained.
"The regime in Pristina has once again demonstrated that it does not respect the religious and civil rights of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, and that its sole objective is to prevent the Serbian people from remaining and surviving on their ancestral lands. I call on the international community to respond urgently to the continued oppression of the Serbian people by the regime in Pristina. We will never abandon our democratic and political struggle for peace, truth, justice, and the survival of our people in Kosovo and Metohija. Vidovdan is the day when everything becomes clear—who remains faithful and who does not," Vucevic said.
