Vucevic: Pristina police officers with the support of KFOR entered Leposavic and replaced the personnel in the station

Serbian Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said that the Pristina police entered Leposavic last night and, with the help of KFOR, replaced the personnel in the Leposavic police station, RTV reports.

Vucevic stated that "this morning he received information that part of the special police was transferred from the Urosevac base to Kosovska Mitrovica, and that it is a group of 35 policemen".

"There was a change of members of the Kosovo police in Leposavic. The team that was previously under the control of Pristina was replaced with new personnel. There was a change of personnel, and that personnel came with the support of KFOR transporters. This was also confirmed by KFOR. It was not a fact that is pleasant for us, but we must be aware of it," Vucevic told for TV Prva.

He points out that there are constant movements and configurations of Kosovo units in the field.

"They have several units, so it is very difficult to define whether they are ROSU, operational or intervention units, they configure them differently. The situation has been tense for two weeks and these tensions are so dramatic that literally a match can set everything on fire," the Minister of Defense warned.
