President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic stated today that everyone in the world talks about territorial integrity as the most important principle, but this rule does not apply when it comes to Serbia.

"It applies to everyone in the world. But there is only one point on the globe where it does not apply, and that is Serbia. For everyone else in the world, it is a sacred principle, the UN Charter. Only for Serbia, it does not apply. And, where are your principles? Do they exist? Or is there one rule for Serbs and another for everyone else?" Vucic asked, speaking at a formal academy to mark Sretenje - Serbia's Statehood Day and the Statehood Day of Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka.

He emphasized that regardless of the circumstances, Serbs only have to fight with peace, stability, economic power, solidarity, and unity, and the fact that "they cannot be broken."

"Do not forget, just 30 years ago, Serbia was imposing sanctions on brothers from the other side of the Drina, setting up blockades and borders on the Drina. We have agreed and we respect that, it will never return, and you will never hear harsh words between Serbs from one side of the Drina to the other. We have learned our lessons – unity, togetherness, solidarity, these are the words that must apply to all of us," the President of Serbia highlighted.

Vucic also noted that when it comes to territorial integrity, it is constantly repeated that someone from Serbia is endangering Bosnia and Herzegovina, always forgetting that there are statements about preserving Bosnia and Herzegovina and its entities.

"But, when it was about the territorial integrity of Serbia they were not interested. Then, no matter how much we pleaded and tried to explain that they should not meet and receive in official visits those who try to illegally secede its parts, it no longer mattered - territorial integrity is important only when it concerns us, but when it comes to Serbia it is not so," the President of Serbia repeated.

He pointed out that Serbia has always tried to reach out to those who never wanted it.

"Everything that is allowed to them, is not allowed to us, everything that is forgiven to them, is never forgiven to us," Vucic observed.

As he said, even when Serbs bow their heads and show respect towards Bosniak victims - it has never been enough.

"Whatever we say, whatever we do, it is not enough just to bow your head, you have to kneel and always be guilty, for the next 100 and 200 years. There have always been double standards. They never wanted to show respect towards our victims. People were never the same always, they just said that we have to be the ones who say exactly what they want to hear," Vucic stated.

He also asked if good neighbors go with resolution proposals to the UN without even asking or informing their neighbors.

"And then they wonder how someone dared to defend themselves, to try to protect their integrity and dignity. The Serbian people are not a rag and a handful of oats for everyone to nibble on," President Vucic declared.

He thanked President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik for always being with him, even in the toughest moments, noting that in the last "100 and some days" he had the greatest support from Serbs from Kosovo and from the Republic of Srpska.

He expressed concern about, as he said, the judicial persecution of Milorad Dodik, whom many "friends" will slowly begin to turn their backs on. He assured him that this would not be the case when it comes to support from Belgrade.

"Serbia will not turn its back on the Republic of Srpska no matter what their decision is and whatever they do. A good future is ahead of us. Times come when the dregs rise to the surface, things always return to their place. I am sure that Serbia and Srpska will continue to build networks, connecting us by roads and railways," Vucic emphasized.

He warned that Serbs will never do anything against anyone, including Bosniaks, but will not tolerate and remain silent about insults, threats, and lies from Bosniak leaders.

"We have to fight with solidarity and unity and the fact that they cannot break us," Vucic concluded.

Dodik: The sacred word of the Serbian people is freedom, we will never be subjugated

President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik declared that freedom is the sacred word of the Serbian people, who will never allow themselves to be subjugated.

"I don't want to be selfish and say that we are only interested in a strong Serbia, and President Aleksandar Vucic has made it so. Strengthen Serbia and do not allow its progress to stop," he added.

He reminded that at the time the Sretenje Constitution came into effect, the Serbian people were an example of humanity and decency. He emphasized that the Serbian people have never been subjugated.

"You know how many forces have attacked these lands through the centuries. The church is our identity, and this is evident by how much we build and renovate our temples," he stated, adding that the English are "the greatest villains to the Serbian people."

"Even today, when I have diplomatic meetings with some of them, I know who I am talking to. They have also worked on overthrowing the current government in Serbia, but they will not succeed," Dodik pointed out.

He emphasized that he is proud to belong to the Serbian people.

"Our ancestors did not have the opportunity to be educated, but they knew their origins, and they stayed in these lands. That is why we in the Republic of Srpska will work even harder to unify. We don't wish ill on the Bosniaks or Croats, but we love our own the most. Is that controversial?" Dodik asked.

He stated that we need to return to the Dayton Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"And we have no problem with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that's why we will fight," added the President of the Republic of Srpska.
