President Aleksandar Vucic attended a ceremony marking the start of construction on the new factory of the company JFE Shoji Serbia d.o.o. in Indjija., and afterward, he spoke to the media about the future project at the ruins of the General Staff building.

"We will set up a kind of museum of victims and all that happened there and that no longer exists today. To show people everything that happened there. So that no one hides anything of it, but also to develop our country with new and significant investments," the president said, adding that he hoped they would have enough time to move the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff.

The president emphasized that those were large investments.

"Belgrade is becoming a world metropolis, and don't worry, everything will be completely transparent. Nobody wants to hide anything. And I died laughing, I read in some newspapers how I actually used it for political influence on Trump, so I have now corrupted America or someone in America. I'm a miracle, it's amazing what I'm able to do, but what are you going to do. People, when they don't know what to do with themselves, then they have to say nonsense. I think, really, that's something extraordinary. That will also mean mending Serbian-American relations, but without forgetting what happened," the president said.
