The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated tonight in Paris that Serbia had fulfilled all that had been stipulated by the Brussels and Ohrid agreements, while Pristina had done nothing - the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, which is its obligation, has not moved from a "deadlock".

During a joint press conference with Macron, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said, "You stated that both sides have done something. Not both. One side has done nothing, has not fulfilled any point of either the Ohrid Agreement or any of the Brussels Agreements, but instead conducted elections with a turnout of 3.4 percent," indicating Pristina's lack of action.

Even after a signed petition, Pristina still refuses to allow elections, Vucic pointed out.

"They are expropriating, deploying soldiers and police to the north even though they have no right. There is still no investigation against those who shot at Serbian children simply because they were carrying an oak branch for Christmas, nor for all other injuries, while everyone only talks about Banjska," the Serbian President said.

He emphasized that the issue of the dinar was of fatal importance for the survival of Serbs in Kosovo.

"Serbia has fulfilled three things from the Ohrid Agreement, although it did not have to do any, because the agreement was that the Community of Serb Municipalities must be formed first, which has not moved from a deadlock. And, Serbia has fulfilled everything, personal IDs, license plates, customs seals…," Vucic highlighted.

Because of all this, he added, he wants to talk with Macron about the Council of Europe, and what, he says, needs to happen on the territory of France concerning the 75th anniversary of the founding of that organization, relating to Kosovo's request for admission to the CoE.

Reminding that this year marks 185 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, said Vucic.

"France has always been the closest to us in Europe, we counted on it the most both in World War I and World War II. And today, when we have a problem or trouble, I could always personally rely on you. Rare are those who wish to listen to others, especially those smaller than themselves. But, President Macron has always wanted to hear those who mean something in the Western Balkans, even if he thought completely the opposite. Thank you endlessly for that."

He added that the economic relations between Serbia and France are incomparably better than before, with trade doubled over the last five years.

There are 339 French investors operating in Serbia, employing 11,125 workers.

"Today we had important discussions with companies EDF and Dassault. We are close not only to big deals but also strategically important matters, working with France as a key partner in the EU. I expect support in other areas as well, from 'Clean Serbia' to cultural exchanges," Vucic stated.

Vucic thanked Macron for always wanting to listen and hear Serbia.

"Thank you for the great support to Serbia, not only on the European path but also for protecting us when it was not easy because I know some were eager to deal with Serbia. Thank you for not thinking like them, but having the wisdom to understand that we must preserve peace together," Vucic expressed.

He also stressed that Serbia would always respect the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Republic of Srpska within Bosnia and Herzegovina, in accordance with the Dayton Agreement.

"We will always do that, you can count on that when it comes to Serbia," Vucic added.

Serbia trusts the French President, he noted.

"We trust you, you have promised and fulfilled some minor things for you, but important for us. You are a man of your word. We respect and love France very much. And, I will do my best to ensure that Serbia keeps its word in the future," President Vucic conveyed.
