Vucic: Pristina has launched an all-out campaign against Zelensky

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic commented on criticism from Pristina regarding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit, saying that Pristina is currently engaged in an "all-out campaign" against the Ukrainian president.

"Pristina has reacted more strongly against Zelensky than ever before. There is an all-out campaign against him in Pristina," Vucic said.

Speaking to reporters, he also said that Serbia can only benefit enormously from Ukraine, a country that has never challenged its territorial integrity.

"Just think about the impact of Zelensky coming here and saying, 'Yes, Kosovo is Serbia.' Have the Albanians suffered a greater setback in the past 14 years?" Vucic asked, responding to criticism from his political opponents over Zelensky's visit.

Asked whether he expected further consequences for Serbs living in Kosovo, Vucic replied that he was well aware of the situation, dealt with the issue every day, and that conditions were "extremely difficult."

"Is the alternative for us to go to war with NATO? We are doing everything we can to make life easier for our people in Kosovo and Metohija, whose situation is extremely difficult," Vucic emphasized.

He also announced that experts from the construction sector had been invited to consider altering the course of the Ibar River.

"We have already invited construction experts and engineers. Since they are harassing our people to such an extent, we have various reasons to consider changing the course of the Ibar River. Then we will see what the Albanians will do and how they will behave. We are a sovereign country. Sometimes we have one set of interests, sometimes another, and we will act accordingly," Vucic said.
