Zelenskyy's adviser: It is not true that Vucic offered weapons for the non-recognition of Kosovo
The adviser to the Ukrainian President, Mykhailo Podolyak, said that it was not true that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, offered Volodymyr Zelenskyy weapons in exchange for the non-recognition of Kosovo, which had been speculated on the social network by the rapporteur of the European Parliament for Kosovo, Viola von Cramon.
"Certainly there is no truth in that, it is speculation. The meeting between the President of Serbia and the President of Ukraine is undoubtedly important. Communication is needed at all levels, we have to understand each other's positions, to understand why one party has a certain attitude," Podolyak said for N1.
Von Cramon wrote that "it is very likely that Vucic allegedly offered Zelenskyy weapons in exchange for not recognizing Kosovo."
Podolyak points out that Ukraine is transparent in the way it arms its troops.
"Everything related to the supply of weapons is discussed in official announcements. This also applies to who is sending the ammunition, whether the coalition or the European coalition, if we are talking about the 155 caliber. And if we are talking about the 152 mm and 122 mm calibers, we announce where we bought them. It is quite a shortage of ammunition. Russia managed to collect almost everything from the market for itself. We have official announcements, and those official announcements also talk about the sources of ammunition. At the moment, we do not have official announcements that we receive ammunition from Serbia," Podolyak said.
