Protest in support of arrested Serbs from Gracanica held in all Serbian healthcare and educational institutions in Kosovo

Protests in support of the arrested Serbs from Gracanica continued in educational and healthcare institutions in central Kosovo, in schools and health centers in northern Kosovo, as well as at the Clinical Hospital Center in Kosovska Mitrovica, and in other health centers and schools in the Kosovo Pomoravlje region, Strpce, and other Serbian communities.

A large number of healthcare workers gathered in front of the Clinical Hospital Center in Kosovska Mitrovica, where they expressed support for what they described as the unjustly detained Serbs from Gracanica through a fifteen-minute protest.

Support for those detained was also expressed by employees in the education sector. Teaching and technical staff from all primary and secondary schools in North Mitrovica gathered in front of their school buildings to protest the arrests and the detention orders imposed on the directors of Serbian institutions in Gracanica.

Employees of the Health Center in Zvecan gathered today at 9 a.m. in front of the healthcare institution, while staff of the "Vuk Karadzic" Primary School and the Secondary School in Zvecan showed support for their colleagues by gathering in front of their respective institutions.

Healthcare and education workers in Leposavic also organized support gatherings today for the directors of schools, health centers, and the Clinical Hospital Center from the municipality of Gracanica.

Employees of the "Leposavic" Primary School, the "Nikola Tesla" Secondary School, and the Health Center in Leposavic gathered at 9 a.m. in front of their institutions to express solidarity and support for their colleagues from Gracanica.

Employees of the Health Center in Gracanica and the Pristina–Gracanica Clinical Hospital Center also held a protest today in support of the directors who have been ordered into one-month detention.

A protest was also held in front of the Health Center in Gusterica.

Gatherings in support of the arrested directors of healthcare and educational institutions in central Kosovo were held this morning in front of secondary and primary schools in the municipality of Strpce, as well as in front of the Health Center.

Employees of the "Jovan Cvijic" Secondary School suspended classes at 9 a.m. this morning in order to jointly express support for the arrested directors of schools, health centers, and the Clinical Hospital Center in Gracanica.

Protests were also held by employees of the "Staja Markovic" Primary School in Strpce, the "Rajko Urosevic" Primary School in Gotovusa, and the "Sarski Odred" Primary School in Sevce and Jazince.

A support protest was also held in front of the Health Center in Strpce.

All protest gatherings passed peacefully and without incident.
