The Serb List: The devastation of the clinic is a shameful act, an attack on the survival of the Serbs

The devastation of the premises of the clinic in Suvi Do, which is a part of the health center in Kosovska Mitrovica, is a shameful act and a reflection of intolerance and ethnic hatred fueled by the regime in Pristina over an extended period, which opposes everything Serbian in Kosovo, the Serb List stated today.

Considering that the healthcare system is one of the basic pillars of the survival of the Serbs in Kosovo, the attack on the premises of the clinic in Suvi Do is an attack on the survival of the Serbs, they emphasize the statement.

This is also, they state, an attack on the coexistence of the Serbs and the Albanians because Serbian healthcare workers in that clinic provided health services to both the Serbs and the Albanians from that village.

"The provision of health services and the protection of health are fundamental human rights, which obviously do not apply in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija for our people. It is particularly irritating that this clinic has been broken into and devastated countless times, and the perpetrators of these acts have never been found", the statement points out.

Therefore, the Serb List appeals to the competent institutions and international missions responsible for security to do everything in their power to prevent such attacks that endanger peace and cause concern among citizens, as this is the 170th ethnically motivated incident this year.

Thanks to the support of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, the Serb List expects the damage to be quickly repaired, and the clinic to be restored to its function.
