Tirana: Great interest in Serbian plum brandy, Serbia cognac, aluminum constructions, and household chemicals at the International Fair

A significant number of visitors, constant meetings, but also agreements between Serbian, and Albanian businessmen, and regional companies marked the last day of the fair in Tirana. Representatives of Serbian companies are more than satisfied with their performance at this year's International Trade Fair, which is one of the most important and most visited events in Albania.

The head of the Center for Regional Cooperation of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Aleksandar Radovanovic, pointed out that the impressions from the International Trade Fair in Tirana had been very positive.

"This year, we had a large number of visitors, some Albanian, some from the region, but also Turkey. Many of our exhibitors have already contracted cooperation with Albanian companies, so we can be very satisfied with this performance in Tirana. We expect the Open Balkan initiative to fully establish the labor market, the first results have already been achieved when it comes to the exchange of goods of animal and vegetable origin, in the first nine months of this year, we already have a significant increase in the exchange when it comes to these products," Radovanovic says.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana, Nikolin Jaka, who visited the Serbian exhibitors at the fair, believes that the region should pay more attention to the economy. The owner of one of the largest dairy factories in Albania is in negotiations with Serbian partners to export his goat's milk products to Serbia.

For Open Balkan, he says that the chamber he heads welcomes any initiative that promotes trade and new business opportunities but also supports the Berlin process.

"We are strongly in favor of the Berlin Process, which includes all regional economic integration and the removal of any barrier to achieving the economic integration of the Western Balkans. Any other structure and any other name that serves the Berlin Process in its positivity is welcome to private entrepreneurship. It is important for us that get to know each other well, to remove barriers, starting from those bureaucratic barriers to barriers in the opinion of our citizens, but it is also important to return to the consumers of our products," Jaka told Kosovo Online.

At the national stand of Serbia, the members of the "INVEJ Group" to which the Rubin Company belongs, the largest producer of grapes, wine, and strong liquors in the country, presented themselves for the first time.

Zoran Bekric, Rubin's director says for Kosovo online, that during the three days of the fair, there was an extraordinary interest in Rubin's products, especially baked plum and Serbian cognac. In order to better their position in the Albanian market, they are looking for adequate buyers and distributors, he says.

"These three days we had intensive meetings and we hope that some agreements will be crowned with a representation agreement of Rubin in Albania", Bekric explains.

Representatives of Albus A.D. from Novi Sad, a company for the production of household chemicals, also had significant contacts. They expect the results of the performance in the following period, general manager Aleksandar Jeric confirms.

"The Albanian market is important to us, we are satisfied and expect the placement of Albus' products, as well as the expansion of sales in this market, and all this as part of the Open Balkan initiative, which we consider and evaluate extremely positively, which will further improve economic flows and the smooth flow of goods between the Open Balkan countries," Jeric said.

This year's eighteenth performance of Serbian companies at the Trade Fair in Tirana was an opportunity for long-term partners to meet to discuss the improvement of existing cooperation.

The company "Tehnomarket" from Pancevo has been present on the local market for five years, and worked with an Albanian partner on the construction of several commercial and residential buildings, for which Tirana became recognizable as "Alban Tower" and "Park Gate".
