Graffiti offensive to Serbs and inscriptions reading "Albania" have been written on the Cultural Center and in the park in Susica

"Albania" graffiti was written on the Cultural Center and in the children's park in Susica yesterday, as well as inscriptions offensive to Serbs. The locals noticed the graffiti this morning, and although they did not want to appear on camera, they expressed to reporters that this incident had disturbed them.

There is also a clinic near the Cultural Center.

The village president, Marko Simic, emphasized that this is not the first time offensive graffiti has been written in Susica.

"It probably happened during the night or in the evening that graffiti was written on the buildings in the village center. This is not the first time graffiti has been written. A few years ago, the same thing happened at the children's playground. If anyone thinks this offends us, it does not, and they cannot scare us. We live here and do not intend to leave," Simic said.

The incident was reported to the Kosovo police, who conducted an investigation.

"They didn't tell me anything concrete at the police station. They asked if we suspected anyone. I cannot suspect anyone because I wasn't an eyewitness, but my personal opinion is that it wasn't done by the residents of Susica, but by those who came from outside, on vacation," Simic added.

Susica is a mixed village near Gracanica where Serbs and Albanians have lived together for many years.
