Police determine bomb threat at “Stana Bacanin” Primary School in Lesak was false

A bomb threat was received this morning at the email address of Stana Bacanin Primary School in Lesak, prompting the school to send pupils attending the morning shift home, school principal Darko Guresic told Kosovo Online. Specialist Kosovo Police teams, assisted by sniffer dogs, searched the school premises and determined that the bomb threat was false.

Petrit Fejza, head of operations for the Kosovo Police's North region, confirmed that no explosive device had been found.

Pupils attending the morning shift had been sent home early, while police secured the area around the school until the search was completed.

Yellow police tape was put up at the scene during the inspection, and police secured the area.
