Last night, in Batushe near Kosova Polje, unknown persons broke into and robbed the house of Dragisa Miric, a member of the Provisional Authority for the Municipality of Decani and a former member of the Assembly in Pristina, RTS reports.
Dragisa Miric, who is currently in Nis, told RTS that he had been informed about the burglary by a neighbor this morning at around nine o'clock.
"The burglars broke down the front and bedroom doors and ransacked all the rooms. Most likely, they followed me and knew that the house was empty on weekends, which they used for robbery. Until I return, I can't know what they took from the house." Miric said.
He says that he informed the police in Gracanica about the theft by phone and that it was confirmed to him that the investigation would be carried out.
Batushe is a Serbian village near Kosovo Polje with a population of about 350, which was annexed to the Municipality of Gracanica by the decentralization plan.
