Residents of Strpce: Hoping for a Better Future

In the afternoon, there is noticeably more congestion at the polling center at the "Staja Markovic" Elementary School in Strpce. Voters for Kosovo Online say that they hope for a better future after the elections.

Resident of Strpce, Stanko Cvetkovic, said after voting that he hopes for a better future.

"We expect everything to be the best," said another resident of Strpce.

Mirjana Nikolic states that she expects a better tomorrow for the Serbian people.

"My expectations are for things to be better for the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija," said Nikolic.

"The democratic right is that everyone can vote for whoever they want. I expect the best to win," another resident noted. Dusan Mrdjinac emphasizes that he expects peace to be established and for everyone to live in harmony.

"I expect us to work on reconciliation between Serbs and Albanians and for all of us to live together in this area," said Mrdjinac.

According to data from the Municipal Election Commission, in the territory of the municipality of Strpce, 5,053 voters, or 39.2 percent of the total number of registered voters, had voted by 3 PM.
