Albanian Post: Kosovo did not receive the consent of the Quint for the violent invasion of municipal buildings in the north

Alarm sirens were sounded in four municipalities in the north of Kosovo today, and as the Albanian Post writes, the Government of Kosovo informed the countries of the Quint a few hours earlier about the intention to break into the buildings of the municipalities in Zvecan, Leposavic, and Zubin Potok with the help of the police.

For the mentioned action, according to the Albanian Post, they did not receive consent from the US, Great Britain, Germany, France, and Italy.

However, despite this, the Kosovo institutions decided to continue with the plan.

The Kosovo police used shock bombs and tear gas to disperse the gathered Serbs in front of the municipal building in Zvecan, and then stormed the municipal building in Zubin Potok.

Let us remind you that the American ambassador in Pristina, Jeffrey Hovenier, said a few days ago before the mayors took the oath, that the US did not consider it a good idea to enter municipal buildings by force.

Hovenier, after meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, said that conflicts and actions that led to increased tensions in the north of Kosovo should be avoided, "Koha Ditore" reported.
