Albanians from Albania are more interested in "national unification" than Albanians from Kosovo

The majority of Albanians from Kosovo and Albania expressed their desire to hold a referendum on the unification of Albania and Kosovo, and the results of the survey on the question of "national unity" showed that the citizens of Albania are more interested in it than the citizens of Kosovo, according to the Barometer survey, Euronews Albania reports.
According to the results, 82.9 percent of respondents in Albania would vote to hold a referendum, while in Kosovo that percentage is slightly lower, 70.6 percent, writes Euronews Albania.
A very small percentage in both Kosovo and Albania expressed that they would vote against such a referendum, namely 12.7 percent of respondents in Albania and 24.2 percent in Kosovo.
In a study conducted for the first time in Albania and Kosovo comprising 2,065 respondents, citizens answered questions about their desire for national unification and everything related to it.
According to the data published in Barometer, a higher percentage of Albanians in Albania wish for a "national union" compared to Albanians in Kosovo.
To the question "regardless of the circumstances and opportunities, how much do you personally want the national union of Kosovo and Albania?", 73.6 percent of those asked in Albania answered positively, while those who want it in Kosovo are 55.4 percent.
