Member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Hisen Berisha, stated that the security situation in the four municipalities in northern Kosovo remains fragile and that while the Kosovo authorities speak about security, municipal facilities are being guarded by the police, reports Teve 1.

Berisha believes that there is no rule of law in the north and that the return of Serbs to the institutions is essential.

"There is law enforcement in the north, but there is no rule of law because if there were, Serbs would be part of Kosovo's institutions. They talk about security while the special units of the Kosovo Police are guarding municipal buildings—that's ridiculous," Berisha said.
