Brnabic: Kurti openly shows that he does not want Serbs in Kosovo

The President of the Serbian Assembly, Ana Brnabic, stated that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti is cornered and that his only way out is to create an armed conflict. She emphasized that the West’s reaction to Kurti’s actions must not be delayed, Novosti reported.

“It is a scandal what is happening. It is terrifying how Albin Kurti openly shows the whole world that he doesn’t want Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija and that if he needs so, he will expel them. If they continue to stay, he will physically remove them. He has lost self-control, if he ever had any. Kurti is so cornered that his only option is to create an armed conflict. The further he goes, the more apparent it becomes. There is less and less space for those who created this false state,” Brnabic said.

She highlighted that meetings between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the EU Envoy for the Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, were very important.

“There must be a reaction from the West. There comes a moment when this silence must be broken, and I believe we are approaching that point, but it is very difficult for our people in Kosovo and Metohija. On the other hand, I think our citizens cannot even imagine the extent of the diplomatic activities being carried out by Vucic and Vucevic,” she stated.
