Covic: All Serbs should leave KSF immediately, Kurti's provocations were thought up abroad

The former head of the Coordination Center for Kosovo and Metohija, Nebojsa Covic, assesses that the statements from Pristina that the Kosovo Security Force can operate in the entire territory of Kosovo, including the north, are another in a series of provocations by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, which was devised with the help of the international community.

Covic added for Kosovo Online that one should definitely be prepared for potential provocative surprises.

"This is another in a series of provocations whose executor is Albin Kurti, and the idea and complete package of all these provocations was devised from outside, by the international community. You shouldn't get too excited about everything, but of course you should be prepared for any surprises," Covic says.

When it comes to KSF, Covic says that those Serbs who are still working in that institution should think carefully after the recent statement of the Kosovo Defense Minister.

"All Serbs, and I hear there are about a hundred of them, who are part of the KSF, should think carefully, especially after the statement of Defense Minister Armend Mehaj, who said that all members of the KSF have in their genes the blood of Adem Jashari, an evildoer and a criminal. My advice is for them to go and do a blood test immediately, and after that, immediately take off their uniforms and get out of such a shameful organization, thus showing Serbian unity," Covic says.

Covic added that income should not be a reason for staying at KSF.

"I hear that it is difficult to live in the area of ​​Kosovo and Metohija and that salaries are low, while members of the KSF receive 400 euros, and if you are an officer from the ranks of the Serbian community, then the salary is 1,600 euros. They should be ashamed and it's the last moment for them to correct their shame and not to sell themselves cheap, because they will be the shame of their generations," Covic says.
