Dacic: Kurti's day is ruined if he doesn't cause an incident; Serbs are fighting for their very existence

The Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, stated that Pristina does not want any international presence in Kosovo and Metohija and that Serbs must be wise and not make enemies out of international missions, Pink reports.

"It's as if Kurti's day or week is ruined if he doesn't cause a new incident. Yesterday, they informed the international community, i.e., EU member states, about the arrest of their police officers. Of course, they sent some maps as if it happened on their territory," Dacic said.

He added that they are dissatisfied with the fact that the international community did not condemn Serbia.

"Their goal is to provoke incidents and the reaction of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, to create conflict between Serbs and KFOR, so that the international community reacts harshly towards Serbia. I believe we've reached a dead end, or rather, the end of the road," Dacic said, emphasizing that there is neither a way back nor a way forward.

He stated that Serbs are forced to fight for their very existence.

"This is not about political competition or political squabbles over whether Serbs will organize politically or have a certain number of parliamentarians or councilors. It's about the physical survival of people, arrests, shootings at people, and violations of basic human rights," Dacic emphasized.

Referring to the ban on Serbian goods entering Kosovo, the minister said he doesn't know if such a thing is happening anywhere in the world in the 21st century or if anyone in the world even considers such a thing.

Dacic stressed that Pristina does not want any international presence in Kosovo, and Serbs need to be wise and not make enemies out of international missions, although it is known that they are not impartial.

"We must know that Pristina wants to drive them all out of Kosovo and take over the exercise of power in certain areas," Dacic emphasized, stating that they would most like to see some kind of "Kosovo Storm" to take place.

Regarding the arrest of Kosovo special forces, the minister stated that they had been found on the territory of central Serbia. As he added, not only do they not have the right to be there, but they are also involved in serious criminal offenses, and can use any excuses to justify their actions.
