Djuric and Botchorishvili reaffirm mutual respect for the territorial integrity of Georgia and Serbia

Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric met today in Chișinău with Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, during which the two sides reaffirmed their mutual respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and Serbia.

Within the framework of the 135th Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, Djuric and Botchorishvili discussed cooperation between the two countries, the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Particular attention was devoted to the dynamics of economic and trade relations, while the importance of exchanges of high-level visits was also emphasized.

Djuric and Botchorishvili also discussed the current situation in the region and the challenges faced by Serbia and Georgia on their respective paths toward European integration.
