Djuric and Cvijanovic: Protection of national interests, while preserving peace and stability, a priority of Serbia and the RS
Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric met in Banja Luka with the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zeljka Cvijanovic, and the focus of the talks was the current political situation, regional challenges, and cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and Serbia.
During the meeting, current political topics and the challenges faced by the Republic of Srpska and Serbia were discussed, as well as important regional issues.
Cvijanovic emphasized that Serbia is a reliable support for the Republic of Srpska, stressing that the protection of national interests, while preserving peace and regional stability, is a permanent and shared priority of the institutions of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia.
In that context, she expressed special gratitude to Serbia, as a guarantor of regional stability, for its understanding and consistent, continuous support for the Republic of Srpska.
The interlocutors confirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional ties, expressing readiness to further improve and deepen the already developed and substantive relations between the Republic of Srpska and Serbia.
