Djuric with the Foreign Minister of Bahrain: Stability in the Middle East can be achieved exclusively through diplomacy

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Djuric, emphasized today in a conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, that Serbia strongly condemns Iran’s attacks on that country and underlined that stability in the Middle East can be achieved exclusively through diplomacy.

In a telephone conversation with Al Zayani, Djuric stated that Serbia stands in solidarity with Bahrain at a time when its sovereignty and territorial integrity are under threat.

“We are fully in solidarity with Bahrain in this difficult moment, as its sovereignty and territorial integrity face a serious threat. Serbia strongly condemns the attacks carried out by Iran against the Kingdom of Bahrain,” Djuric said in a post on the social media platform X.

The Minister added that lasting stability in the Middle East can be achieved solely through diplomatic means.

“We firmly believe that durable stability in the region can be achieved exclusively through diplomacy, and we hope for a swift and peaceful de-escalation of the conflict at the earliest possible time,” Djuric stated.
