Djuric with Giaufret: Pristina's actions in the north are a continuation of intimidation aimed at expelling Serbs

The Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Djuric, met today with the head of the European Union delegation in Serbia, Emanuele Giaufret, with whom he discussed the situation in Kosovo and Serbia's European path.
"Informing his counterpart about the problems faced by the Serbian people in Kosovo, Djuric emphasized that the recent unilateral actions of Pristina in the northern part of the province are a continuation of a policy of intimidation, which ultimately aims at expelling Serbs, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Djuric stressed that Serbia is committed to resolving the issues in Kosovo through dialogue.
"However, we are witnessing that the constructiveness of one side is not enough to make progress towards finding mutually acceptable solutions, " the minister pointed out.
Emphasizing that membership in the European Union remains a strategic commitment and a priority of Serbia's foreign policy, Djuric expressed hope that the new European Commission will be more dedicated to the issue of enlargement and that this issue will truly be at the top of the priority list.
According to Djuric, Serbia remains committed to implementing the reform agenda on its path to full membership in the European Union.
