Djuric with Tenney: Significant role of the Serbian Caucus in promoting Serbia in the US Congress

Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric met today in Washington with Co-Chair of the Serbian Caucus in the US Congress, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, to discuss key issues concerning Serbia and the Balkan region that are the subject of interest and consideration on Capitol Hill.

According to a statement from the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Djuric presented a comprehensive overview of the current state of Serbian-American relations, highlighting the dynamics of cooperation in various areas, from political dialogue to energy and other segments of mutual interest.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on broader global issues and current international challenges.

The head of Serbian diplomacy especially thanked Congresswoman Tenney for her active engagement within the Serbian Caucus, emphasizing that the work of this body plays a significant role in promoting Serbia in the US Congress, as well as in strengthening understanding of and interest in Serbia among members of this legislative body.
